I am very passionate about the preservation of culture through traditional arts and crafts.

My journey into the traditional arts began with the women in my family sharing native beading, art, and stories with me. This generational teaching preserves our history and strengthens connections with our ancestors.

My current work is an attempt at exemplifying and preserving global cultural art practices. I study and practice Islamic geometric design, Indian miniature painting, historic oil painting techniques, Celtic design, and Tlingit art and design.

The work presented in this portfolio is entirely analog. The geometric designs are created using a ruler and compass and every piece is hand-painted.
